The Eta Mu Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Black Jack, Missouri, proudly announces Brooke Lytle as the 2025 recipient of its academic scholarship.

Brooke is a 2025 graduate of Ladue High School in Ladue, Missouri, where she earned an impressive 4.0 GPA. This fall, she will begin her studies at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, pursuing a major in civil engineering with a minor in Spanish.

Brooke was chosen for the award based on her academic excellence, demonstrated financial need, and her outstanding involvement in leadership, athletics, and community service. During high school, she served as captain of the girls’ softball team, played in the school band, and actively participated in community organizations while balancing each responsibility and maintaining top academic performance.

Her letter of recommendation, written by Kathryn L. Schaefer, English teacher at Clayton High School, described Brooke as “a student of exceptional ability and character who will undoubtedly thrive in any academic or professional setting.” Schaefer praised Brooke’s maturity, work ethic, and enthusiasm for learning, noting that she “approaches every task with a sense of responsibility and respect for others, earning the trust and admiration of her peers and teachers alike.”

The Eta Mu Sigma Alumnae Chapter recognizes Brooke’s achievements as a strong foundation for her future. With her integrity, determination, and passion for making a difference, she is expected to excel in her studies and contribute meaningfully to both her profession and the community.

Congratulations, Brooke!
